The Great Allegheny Passage and the C&O Canal Towpath is a must-ride trail for all bike travelers. These two bike trail create two distinctly different experiences and one epic journey.

The forested canopy and small town life of the GAP offers relaxed cycling to invigorate the senses and unplug from your cares. This is followed by the incredible history and bustling energy of the C&O Canal Towpath. Day after day of cycling, quality B&Bs stays, great scenery, and good food make this a one of the best bike trips you’ll ever experience.

On this trip you’ll wake up each morning, have breakfast, then get on your bike and ride for the whole day. Then, you’ll do it again the next day. For a bike lover what could be better? End your journey at the nation’s capitol and pose for your bragging-rights photo at Mile Marker 0.

All prices include private rooms and private bathrooms. Rental bikes can be included from $200/bike.

We can design an itinerary of any duration. Riders can take anywhere from 5 days to 14 days to ride the entire trail. Request your custom itinerary

*Don’t need a shuttle between DC and Pittsburgh? Take $250 off (trip w/out luggage) OR $215 off (trip w/ luggage) per person up to $500 total. 

**All prices are per person and based on double occupancy. Solo riders add 85% to trip w/out luggage, or 90% to trip w/luggage.

Groups of 5 or more receive 20% discount (assuming double occupancy).
